STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern Softball closes out a 16-game road trip with four games at the Tennessee Classic at Lee Softball Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn. The Eagles begin play on Saturday, March 5th, with an 11 a.m. game against Louisiana-Monroe before facing No.7 Tennessee at 3 p.m. Georgia Southern plays an exhibition game against the Dutch National Team at 11 a.m. on Sunday and closes the weekend with a 1 p.m. game against the Lady Vols.

Sophomore Andrea Tarashuk (Flemington, N.J.) is hitting .314 and slugging at a .400 clip.
In the circle, freshman Allie Miles (Dacula, Ga.) recorded two wins last week and has a team-best 2.95 ERA on the year. She is holding opposing batters to a .203 batting average and leads the Southern Conference with 42 strikeouts. Senior Brianna Streetmon (Winder, Ga.) is ranked fourth in the league for strikeouts (28) in 11 appearances.
