Big Day Planned for April 2nd Citadel Baseball Game

STATESBORO, Ga. - A big day of activities is planned for Saturday, April 2nd, when Georgia Southern returns home for its next conference series. The Eagles will face The Citadel in a three-game series that weekend with a slate of activities bringing fans out to J.I. Clements Stadium. Families attending Spring Family Weekend, as planned by the Georgia Southern Office of Orientation and Parent Programs, will have the opportunity to attend the game between the Eagles and Bulldogs. Families and fans can enjoy the Clements Crazies tailgate before the game.
The Spring Family Weekend package includes a ticket to the game and concession pass. The price per person is $10 for parents and family and $5 for students. The package includes a coupon for a hot dog, popcorn and a drink at the J.I. Clements Stadium concession stand. Registrations can be made through March 28th by calling 912-478-7627.
The Clements Crazies Tailgate will start at 1 p.m. and will last till 2:30 p.m. inside the big white tent in the lower Hanner Fieldhouse parking lot near the Iron Works building. The tailgate is open to all fans who have purchased a ticket to Saturday's baseball game and all Georgia Southern or East Georgia students who present their student ID card.
