Baseball Wraps Up Fall Practice with Scrimmage and Cookout

STATESBORO, Ga. - The Georgia Southern Baseball team is hosting a cookout following the team's final scrimmage of the fall season Saturday. The scrimmage starts at 12 p.m. with the cookout to follow at around 2:30 p.m. Tickets for the cookout can be purchased by contacting the Georgia Southern Baseball office at 912-478-1350 or baseball@georgiasouthern.edu.
The day begins with a fan home run derby at 10 a.m. Followed by the nine inning scrimmage and the cookout. The team will also take the field Friday night with stretching and batting practice taking place at 6 p.m. and the scrimmage starting after 7 p.m.
