Baseball Head Coach Hennon to Speak at Greater Savannah Eagle Club

STATESBORO, Ga. - The Greater Savannah Eagle Club opens its 2011 Business Luncheon schedule with Head Baseball Coach Rodney Hennon. Hennon will be the speaker at the January 27th meeting of the Greater Savannah Eagle Club. All Eagle Club events are sponsored by the Georgia Southern University Office of Alumni Relations.
Hennon is set to discuss the upcoming baseball season and will give his outlook on the 2011 Eagles. Georgia Southern won the 2009 SoCon Tournament Championship and posted a third-place finish last season. The Eagles have won more than 30 games in a season over the last 11 consecutive years.
The Greater Savannah Eagle Club luncheon is open to all alumni, supporters and friends of Georgia Southern and is scheduled to start at noon. All meetings will be held at Johnny Harris Restaurant located on 1651 East Victory Drive. The buffet is $10 per person which includes tax and tip.
Due to NCAA regulations, students in grades 9-12 are not encouraged to attend this Eagle Club event.

Baseball begins its 2011 season Friday, February 18th against George Washington at J.I. Clements Stadium and will play 14 of the first 16 games at home.
