Preseason Fundamental Baseball Camp Offered January 22

STATESBORO, Ga. - Middle and high school students can get a head start on the competition with a Preseason Fundamental Baseball Skills Camp on Saturday, January 22nd, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at J.I. Clements Stadium. The Georgia Southern Baseball coaching staff will serve as instructors for the day camp and will help players sharpen their skills with sessions focusing on hitting, pitching and fielding for all positions. Cost of the camp is $125 and space is limited.
The camp will be held at J.I. Clements Stadium with access to the Eagle Baseball facilities including Ft. Knocks (home of GSU's batting cages), the bullpen area and indoor training facility. Any camp meetings will take place in the Michael Wiggins Complex.
Participants need to bring all necessary baseball equipment and check in between 8:15 and 8:45 a.m. on the day of the camp. Documented proof of a medical physical from the past 12 months must be presented at registration. This proof may be a copy of a form used for a school physical but must have a doctor's signature that grants approval to participate in athletics.
Lunch will not be provided but participants will have a lunch break or may bring a sack lunch.
