STATESBORO, GA – Arrangements for the 2010 installment of the Bulloch County Eagle Club Baseball Dinner have been set. The annual dinner will take place on Tuesday, February 16 in the Gene Bishop Field House at Paulson Stadium beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Fans can purchase tickets to the event that sold out last year by calling the Office of Alumni Relations at 912-478-2586 or ordering online at http://alumni.georgiasouthern.edu. Tickets are $15.00 per person.
Supporters of the Georgia Southern baseball program will have the opportunity to meet Eagle Head Coach Rodney Hennon, his coaching staff and the entire 2010 baseball team. Hennon will address the fans with a recap of the 2009 championship season and preview of the 2010 season. University Store will also be on site selling Georgia Southern baseball merchandise as fans prepare for the upcoming season.
“This event is always a great opportunity to preview this year's team for our fans and give our thanks for their support,” said Hennon. “We always have a great turnout for this event and we truly appreciate the great support we get from Statesboro and the Bulloch County Community.”
Earlier this month, Hennon was in Savannah for the Eagle Club Luncheon where he spoke on the achievements of last season and the newcomers for 2010.
The Eagles officially take the field for the start of the 2010 regular season on Friday, February 19 against a 2009 NCAA Regional Tennessee Tech squad. First pitch of opening night is set to be thrown at 7:00 p.m.
