Little Eagles Baseball Camp and Meet the Eagles Set for February 13

STATESBORO, GA – The 3rd Annual Little Eagles Baseball Camp and Meet the Eagles event has been scheduled for Saturday, February 13 at J.I. Clements Stadium.
"The Little Eagles Baseball Camp has been a great way to kick off the start of our season. We are very appreciative of the tremendous support from the Statesboro community and this is one way for us to give back,” stated Eagle head coach Rodney Hennon. “This will be our third annual event and it is always a very fun and exciting day for the kids of the community and the players and coaches within our baseball program."
Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. for the event, which is open to all children ages 4-14. All participants must bring their own bat and glove in order to participate in the camp. Parents will be required to sign a waiver form during registration. The Little Eagles Baseball Camp begins at 11 a.m. and will last until 12 p.m.
Participants of the 3rd Annual Little Eagles Baseball Camp will receive a Verizon Wireless jersey bag upon entry. Following the camp, fans will have their first chance to receive the 2010 baseball schedule cards and posters that can be signed during Meet the Eagles from 12 p.m.-1 p.m. on the concourse of J.I. Clements Stadium.
The series of events will end with a tour of the baseball facility before the Eagles take the field for an intra-squad scrimmage. All events are free and open to the public.
