Baseball Closes Out Fall Practice with Cookout and Scrimmage

STATESBORO, Ga. – After fall workout sessions, the Georgia Southern Baseball team wraps up fall action with a cookout and scrimmage at J.I. Clements Stadium on November 5. The cookout begins at 6 p.m. with the scrimmage following at 7 p.m.
The cookout will feature a low country boil and plates are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for children (ages 10 and under). Dinner tickets may be purchased by contacting Matt Rademacher at (912) 478-1350 or baseball@georgiasouthern.edu. Remaining dinner tickets will also be sold at the main gate of J.I. Clements Stadium on the night of the event, but there will be a limited amount of food available at the dinner.
Following the cookout, fans can get a sneak peek at the 2011 Eagles as they take the field for a nine-inning scrimmage. The scrimmage portion of the evening is free and open to the public.
