Baseball Season Tickets Currently On Sale

STATESBORO, GA –Season tickets are currently on sale for the upcoming 2010 Georgia Southern Eagle baseball season, which hosts 34 home contests at J.I. Clements Stadium. The defending Southern Conference Champions finished the 2009 season 42-17 and earned the automatic berth to the NCAA Fullerton Regional.
The season will kick off with eight consecutive home contests including the season-opening series against 2009 NCAA Regional participant, Tennessee Tech. Highlights of the season's home schedule include a two-game series against Georgia Tech (Feb. 23-24), the rekindling of Marshall rivalry four years absent (March 5-7), an appearance from South Carolina (March 23), and five weekend series against Southern Conference opponents.
Seventeen letterwinners return from 2009 including SoCon Tournament Most Outstanding Player, Kyle Blackburn and May SoCon Player of the Month, A.J. Wirnsberger to a roster that includes 13 newcomers.
Several ticket options are available for fans to choose from including Flex Plan and Ball Park Bound packages. Two Flex Plan options give fans the opportunity to purchase 10 or 25 tickets that may be used upon the buyer's discretion, meaning patrons can use all tickets for one game or use two tickets at several games. The Ball Park Bound package reissues the purchased tickets to charitable organizations within the local area.
