Summer Baseball Update

STATESBORO, Ga. - Three Eagles were named to All-Star teams.
Roman Grimaldi (Duluth, Ga.) was named to the Great South League All-Star team. Grimaldi, a rising senior, hit .298 with three home runs and 15 RBIs for Georgia Southern last season.
Eric Phillips (Carrollton, Ga.) was named to the New York Collegiate Baseball League All-Star team. Phillips is hitting .333 with two home runs and 14 RBIs for the Glens Falls Golden Eagles. The Golden Eagles are currently 22-7 in the league.
A.J. Wirnsberger (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) recently played in the Valley Baseball League's North vs. South All-Star game. Wirnsberger went one for three while playing second base for the North team. He currently leads the Luray Wranglers with a .368 average.
