Eagles Conclude Fall Tournaments at Crimson Tide Fall Championships

STATESBORO, GA – The Georgia Southern men's tennis team will conclude its fall tournament slate competing at the Crimson Tide Fall Championships, October 30-November 1. All tennis action will take place at the University of Alabama Tennis Stadium.
A 16-team field is set to compete in the three-day tournament that includes five singles draws and two doubles draws. Comprising the field are Alabama, Gardner-Webb, Georgia Southern, Illinois, Jacksonville State, Kentucky, Memphis, Middle Tennessee, Radford, Southern Miss, Tennessee, Chattanooga, Tennessee Tech, Tulane, UAB and Vanderbilt.
Matches are slated to begin at 9:00 a.m. (CST) each of the three days beginning with two singles rounds and one doubles round on Friday. One singles round and two doubles rounds will take place on Saturday and the tournament concludes on Sunday with the final two rounds of doubles and final round of singles action.
Representing the Eagles in Tuscaloosa will be Juan Melian-Puigventos, Justin Flynn, Sebastien Felt and Mark Paetz. Flynn and Puigventos will team up to comprise one doubles pair, while Felt and Paetz will challenge as the second Eagles doubles tandem.
