FRESHMAN (2005): Started in 27 games... first collegiate game he started at shortstop in the season-opener against nationally-ranked Georgia Tech, going 1-for-3... singled on the first pitch he saw as an Eagle... season-high two hits against Davidson, Georgia, Georgia State (twice), Wofford and Appalachian State... season-high two RBI at Georgia and at home against the Bulldogs... scored three runs against Davidson and at Appalachian State... 2-for-2 with three runs scored in the finale at ASU... 2-for-3 with three runs scored in game two against Davidson, in addition to his four putouts and four assists... hit a double three times during a four game stretch (one each game)... five assists each in the first two games at East Tennessee State... five assists against Gardner-Webb... committed two errors during his final nine games played... 5-for-12 during the road trip through ASU and Georgia State... hit by a pitch twice in the first game at Georgia State...
