REDSHIRT-FRESHMAN (2007): Saw action in the season-opener against West Georgia... joined the program in January as a walk-on... HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football, basketball, track and baseball... played for coach Bill Schmitz... named football team MVP and team captain... Honorable Mention All-Region... also served as team captain in basketball and track while earning MVP honors in both sports... part of the regional championship 4x100 and 4x400 relays... state champion in the 4x200 and 4x400 relay... also won regional titles in the 100-hurdles, high jump and long jump... set a school record with a long jump of 21 feet, 6-1 in the high jump and also in the 100-meters, 4x100 and 4x400 relays... track team won two regional championships...
