STATESBORO, Ga. ? Saturday, October 20th is Youth Day at the Georgia Southern men's soccer match versus Appalachian State. Following the Southern Conference clash, which is set for noon, head coach Kevin Kennedy
and the Eagles will be conducting a free soccer skills clinic for youth ages 14 and under.
Several sponsors for the men's soccer team have donated their resources to make this an enjoyable event for everyone.
Verizon Wireless is providing goodie bags to first 50 kids to sign up.
Goodie Bag will include: Verizon Wireless plastic cup, candy, pom-pom, face tattoo, spirit band, flyer promoting GUS's next appearance at Verizon on Oct. 26th.
Verizon Wireless is also providing a $25 gift certificate to be raffled off at the conclusion of the clinic.
Gailey Trophy is providing 65 dog tag soccer chains to be included with the goodie bag.
Papa John's is providing pizza for the match, 20 to begin with, and will provide more as necessary.
Coke is providing 216 Powerade beverages to be given away at the clinic.
