Hannah Dettmann joined the Georgia Southern Strength & Conditioning staff in June 2026. Her primary responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of strength & conditioning development for women’s soccer, women’s golf and track & field.
Prior to Georgia Southern, Dettmann served as a Volunteer Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of St. Thomas for the duration of the 2025 to 2026 academic year. In this role, she led and programmed for Women’s Golf and Women’s Tennis and assisted with Football and Women’s Soccer.
From 2024 to 2025, Dettmann was an intern at the University of Denver where she worked with multiple teams including men’s hockey, men's and women’s golf, women’s triathlon and women’s gymnastics. From 2022 to 2024, Dettmann began her career in coaching as an Assistant Swim Coach for St. Croix Swim Club where she coached competitive swimmers from youth to the high school level.
Dettmann earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with minors in kinesiology and chemistry from the University of Denver in June of 2025. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA.
