Junior (2013-14): Swam 400 IM, 200 Free, and 200 Breast at 2014 CCSA Championships... earned CCSA All-Academic distinction and Dean’s List for Fall semester and President’s List in Spring semester.

Sophomore (2012-13): Swam three lifetime bests at the CCSA Championships…placed 4th in the 400 IM (4:26.36), 11th in the 200 Breast (2:20.72), and also swam the 500 Free (5:06.26)…Named CCSA All Academic for Fall semester…Won team’s “Most Improved” award.

Freshman (2011-12): Swam lifetime best in the 400 Individual Medley at the 2012 CCSA Championships to place 12th (4:30.85)... Also competed in 200 Individual Medley and 200 Breast... Named CCSA All-Academic for Fall 2011 semester.

Prep: Attended Madison Central High School... Named to All-Region 5 Team in 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 seasons... Named 2011 Region 5 Outstanding Competitor... Holds school records in 200 Free, 500 Free, 200 IM, 400 Free Relay and 200 Medley Relay events... Team co-captain in 2009-2010 and captain in 2010-2011... Swam for the Bluegrass Marlins Swim Club.

Personal: Full name is Rikki Anna Babuka... Daughter of Richard and Kimberly Babuka... Born March 27, 1993, in Warren, Ohio... Has a brother named John... Father Rick was her high school and club swimming coach... Most admires her dad who is also her biggest inspiration because "he inspires me to be a dedicated, hardworking, responsible and respectful person"... Most treasured possession is her pictures because "they hold all of her memories"... Enjoys waterskiing, snow skiing, wakeboarding, reading, photography and cooking... Moment in history she would want to see is the 2008 Summer Olympics to see Michael Phelps win eight gold medals... Talent she'd most like to have is being able to draw... Chose Georgia Southern because of the gorgeous campus, great academics and the swim team... Favorites: songs - Cats in the Cradle, Big Green Tractor, The Show Goes On; meal - steak, fettuccine alfredo and salad; movie - Little Mermaid; athlete - Mark Gangloff.
