Sydney Jones serves as the media relations contact for softball, women’s golf, indoor track and field, and cross country. She also serves as secondary contact for football.

Jones graduated from NC State University with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management with minors in Statistics and Leadership. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Sport Management at Georgia Southern.

While at NC State, Jones interned in the athletics communications department for four years working with all sports but primarily working with baseball, men’s basketball, and volleyball. She handled statistical responsibilities and production of game notes along with media requests for coaches and student-athletes.

As an undergraduate, Jones worked as a Business Operations Intern for Ripken Baseball and was an Operations Assistant with USA Baseball. She also served in on-campus organizations such as Cru and the inaugural Women in Sport Leadership Summit.

A native of Garner, North Carolina, she is the daughter of Johnny and Angie Jones and has two siblings, Cody and Susan.
