PREP: Played for Head Coach Trevor Creeden at Hilton Head Christian Academy in Hilton Head Island, S.C... Played on the Eagles’ varsity squad for five seasons and was the team’s captain in his junior and senior seasons... Named All-State his final three seasons in baseball... Helped his team to a 23-5 record and a state title his senior year... Led his senior team in walks, on-base percentage, stolen bases and runs... Hit over .400 in his sophomore and junior seasons... Also lettered three times in football and basketball and was All-State twice in each of those sports.

PERSONAL: Born Zachary Thomas Lenns on November 8th, 1991 in Hilton Head Island, S.C... Son of Thomas and Carol Lenns... Enjoys sports and wakeboarding... Craziest ambition is to go scuba diving... Chose Georgia Southern because of its quality baseball program... Favorite pro team is the Green Bay Packers.
