Junior (2013-14): Part of the school record-setting 800-Free Relay at the 2014 CCSA Championships... also placed 11th in the 400 IM (4:30.87), 14th in the 500 Free (4:59.72), and 16th in the 1650 Free (17:33.35)... named team’s “Most Dedicated” award... earned President’s List distinction for both fall and spring semesters as well as CCSA All-Academic honors.

Sophomore (2012-13): Took 6th in the 1650 Free (17:17.11), 8th in the 500 Free (5:00.66), and 10th in the 400 IM (4:28.59) at the CCSA Championships…Earned CCSA All-Academic and President’s List honors for Fall and Spring semesters…Earned team’s “Most Dedicated” award.

Freshman (2011-12): Swam three lifetime bests at the CCSA Championship meet placing 4th in the 1650 Free (17:05.81), 4th in the 500 Free (4:57.29) and 5th in the 400 IM (4:27.08)... Also set two GSU records (500 Free and 1650 Free)... Named to CCSA All-Academic and President's List for both semesters.

Prep: Attended North Oconee High School... Holds school records in the 200 Free and 500 Free... High point scorer all four seasons... Team captain and Wendy's High School Heisman Winner... Oconee Scholar, National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society member.

Personal: Full name is Amber Nichole Juncker... Daughter of Alan and Laura Juncker... Born on Sept. 16, 1992... Has a sister Stephanie, who swam for the University of Louisville... Biggest influence is her sister because "she is the one who got me started in swimming"... Most treasured possession is her car because "it allows me to have freedom"... Enjoys shopping, baking, working with kids and teaching swim lessons... Talent would most like to have is to be able to sing... Chose Georgia Southern because of the swim team and coaching staff... Career objective is to be a teacher... Favorites: song - Jump Then Fall; meal - bowtie pasta with chicken; movies - 27 Dresses and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.
