Words From Coach Carter Collins: "What a great week for Statesboro and our program. We are very appreciative of the community of Statesboro, the Schenkel committee and Forest Heights Country Club for the incredible hospitality at this year's event. Congratulations to Joe Glisson and his staff on presenting an incredible tournament golf course.
"Very proud of our team. We had four Schenkel rookies in the lineup this week, and they embraced the energy and fed off of it. Coming up short of the trophy falls on only me, but I am so proud of them for what they accomplished this week.
"Best week in college golf, and I'm proud of our team for continuing to show how good they are. HAIL SOUTHERN!"
