STATESBORO – On Thursday, Georgia Southern volleyball head coach Chad Willis announced the addition of Kaeden Noble as the programs new Director of Operations.
"I am excited to be back on the East Coach at Georgia Southern," Noble said. "The vision here is clear and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with these student-athletes and contribute to this culture. The success of this program stems from an amazing staff and I am thrilled to be a part of it."
A former Libero for the Roanoke College men's volleyball team, Noble etched his name all over the Roanoke men's volleyball record book. During the program's inaugural 2023 season, Noble naturally set the single-season digs record. He then broke his own mark in both 2024 and 2025, ending his career as the leader in digs and sets played. Of the program's 11 best single-match digs totals, Noble graduated with 10 of them.
"We are incredibly excited to add Kaeden to our staff and team," head coach Chad Willis said. "During the interview process, it was clear Kaeden has a passion for the sport and everyone we spoke to talked about his positive energy and impact on those he's worked with. Kaeden's experience as a former student-athlete on the men's side along with his time at UC Santa Barbara will be valuable as we continue to pursue excellence and build for Sun Belt Championships here in Statesboro."
He was named 2025 First Team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) complemented by Academic All-Conference honors. Noble also earned national honors, earning a selection on the United States Division III men's volleyball team for the summer of 2024 Brazil tour.
Noble began his coaching and playing career at Roanoke College. He joined the coaching ranks as an assistant coach on the women's team in the fall of 2024, while captaining the men's team as the starting libero in the spring of 2025. His other coaching endeavors include East Caroling Junior Volleyball Club and South Lenoir High School.
Most recently, Noble was an assistant coach at UC Santa Barbara where he led camp and clinic sessions for the Gauchos. Additionally, he assisted in the scouting of opponents and film breakdown, ran drills at practice, and assisted the head coach with operational tasks.
