STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern track and field squad earned a total team victory to kick off the outdoor season at the Georgia Southern relays.
"This was a great way for us to open our season," head coach
David Neville said. "We wanted to shake the rust off and get back after it after having some weeks off after the indoor season. We saw many great things across the board and I think this has given us a lot to look forward to this outdoor season."
The Eagles earned 251 team points to pace the field before Asbury University (Ky.), who finished second with a score of 113.
