Statesboro, Ga. --- Along with Evening With the All-Stars this upcoming Friday night, the Georgia Southern baseball team has many more events for the Statesboro community to enjoy this upcoming weekend before the start of the season on February 14th.
Friday, February 7th
4:30 p.m. - The groundbreaking ceremony for the new baseball facility will commence at J.I. Clements Stadium. Members of the Statesboro and Georgia Southern community are invited to witness this momentous occasion in Eagles'Â baseball history.Â
Evening With The All-Stars:
Held at the Jack and Ruth Ann Hill Convocation Center
5:30 p.m. - Meet and greet begins with World Series champion and Braves legend Tim Hudson. This opportunity is for those who have purchased the Priority Ticket or ticket packages.Â
6 p.m. - Both the silent auction and cocktail hour will begin, allowing attendees to socialize and auction on incredible items.
7 p.m. The banquet officially begins. Hudson will start the evening with a few words before a plated dinner commences. Along with the team awards for the 2024 season being announced, a live auction and the raffle drawing will also happen at this time.
Saturday, February 8th
Dugout Club Preseason Social - 11 a.m.
Open Intrasquad Scrimmage - 12 p.m.
Little Eagles Clinic - 3:15 p.m.
The Little Eagles Clinic is a free event for those aged 6-12 that includes fun drills on the field, interaction with the players, and an autograph session at the end. Check-in is at 2 p.m. inside J.I. Clements Stadium. Parents are encouraged to sign their children up at the link below, which closes at noon on Friday, but can also sign up on the field the day of.

The Eagles open up their 2025 campaign with nine straight home games, with Opening Day against Western Carolina set for 6:30 p.m. on Friday, February 14th.
