Box Score CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - No. 75-ranked Georgia Southern men's tennis saw its three-game win streak come to an end on Saturday with a 5-2 loss to host Chattanooga.
The Eagles fall to 6-5 on the year, while Chattanooga improves to 6-5. Georgia Southern will continue its four-game road swing next weekend, visiting Samford and UAB on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, in Birmingham.
Chattanooga claimed the doubles point from the Eagles with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. Laurent Julia Calac and Aaron James Williams notched a 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles for the Eagles.
The Mocs then won four of six singles matches to collect the victory. The Eagles were able to pick up a pair of singles wins as Dimitris Paliouras downed Gabriel Castillo, 6-4, 7-5, at No. 1 singles, while Calac defeated Matej Laibl, 6-2, 4-6, 6-3, at No. 5 singles.
