Georgia Southern Softball Announces 2026 Spring Schedule

STATESBORO – Georgia Southern softball has announced its 2026 spring schedule, featuring a competitive slate of nonconference tournaments, regional matchups and a full Sun Belt Conference schedule at Eagle Field.
The Eagles open the 2026 season at home with Bash in the 'Boro from Feb. 6-8, welcoming UNC Greensboro, Eastern Illinois and Eastern Kentucky to Statesboro. Georgia Southern then hits the road for the Easton Bama Bash from Feb. 13-15, where it will face Alabama, Liberty and Purdue, before returning to action with a midweek matchup at Mercer on Feb. 18.
Nonconference play continues at Eagle Field with the GATA Challenge from Feb. 20-22, featuring Tennessee Tech, Rhode Island and Eastern Kentucky. The Eagles then travel to the Clemson Invitational (Feb. 27-March 1) and the UNF Tournament (March 6-8), facing top competition including Clemson and Mississippi State. Georgia Southern closes out early March with a road contest at Charleston Southern on March 10.
Sun Belt Conference play begins at home against James Madison (March 13-15). Georgia Southern will also host midweek matchups against the College of Charleston (March 24), ULM (April 2-4), Troy (April 17-19) and Appalachian State (April 24-26).
Key road contests include trips to South Carolina (March 18), Marshall (March 20-22), Coastal Carolina (March 27-28), Southern Miss (April 10-12), Georgia Tech (April 15), Georgia (April 22) and Georgia State (April 30-May 2).
The regular season concludes with the Sun Belt Conference Championships in Lafayette, Louisiana, scheduled for May 6-9.
With a balanced mix of home tournaments, Power Five opponents and conference rivals, the 2026 schedule sets the stage for an exciting spring in Statesboro.
