Georgia Southern Announces 2026 Women’s Track & Field Indoor, Outdoor Schedule

STATESBORO – Georgia Southern women's track and field has officially released its 2026 indoor and outdoor competition schedule, featuring a challenging slate of elite meets across the country as the Eagles prepare for another standout year on the track.
 
The indoor season begins on January 10 at the Clemson Invitational, marking the start of a series of high-level competitions. The Eagles will continue their early-season campaign at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational in Gainesville on January 16, followed by a return trip to Clemson for the Bob Pollock Meet from January 30-31.
 
Georgia Southern will then head West for one of the premier meets of the season, the Don Kirby Elite Meet, taking place February 13-14 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. 
 
The Eagles will wrap up conference competition at the Sun Belt Conference (SBC) Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Alabama, on February 23-24, before competing for national accolades at the NCAA Indoor Championships from March 23-24 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
 
The outdoor schedule begins in Orlando at UCF with the Black & Gold Challenge on March 20-21, marking the launch of a highly competitive spring campaign. Georgia Southern will travel to Las Vegas for the UNLV Rebel Elite meet held April 3-4, before competing at the Spec Town Invitational at UGA on April 10-11.
 
The Eagles return home to host the Georgia Southern Relays on April 17-18, welcoming programs from around the region. Then, GS will trek back to Athens, Georgia, for the Torrin Lawrence Memorial on May 2.
 
Championship season heats up with the SBC Outdoor Championships in Mobile, Alabama, from May 14-16. Qualifying student-athletes will advance to the NCAA East Regionals in Lexington, Kentucky, from May 28 to 30, with hopes of earning a spot on the national stage at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, held from June 11 to 13 in Eugene, Oregon.
 
With a strong blend of returning talent and promising newcomers, Georgia Southern Women's Track & Field looks to build on its momentum throughout the 2026 campaign.
