Eagles Come Up Just Short to Ospreys in First Dual Meet

Jacksonville, Fla. --- The Georgia Southern swim team fell 88.5 to 173.5 against North Florida in their first dual meet of the season on Saturday afternoon (October 25th).

Two Eagles managed event wins on the day, including two of them from Sarah Luskus. In the 200 Breast, her time of 2.22.83 would be nearly two seconds faster than the runner up in the event. Additionally, she would come out on top in the 200 IM with her time of 2:11.91. It would be her first event wins of 2025.

Morgan Wagner would also take first in an event on the day in just her second collegiate event. The freshman's time of 1:54.05 in the 200 Free would be a second-and-a-half faster than UNF's top swimmer for her first win in her career.

Calissa Kissinger would also have a great day, swimming in both top-finishing relays for Southern while placing second in both the 100 and 200 Back in also just her second career collegiate meet.

Next, the Eagle dive team head up to Atlanta to compete in the Emory Invite next Friday and Saturday (November 7th and 8th). The swim team next hits the water for the midseason meet, the South Carolina Invite, from November 19th-21st in Columbia.
