Georgia Southern Releases 2024-25 Women's Golf Schedule

Eagles to compete in 11 regular season tournaments and one match play

STATESBORO – Georgia Southern women's golf head coach Mimi Burke announced the 2024-25 women's golf schedule on Tuesday morning. The Eagles are set to play in 11 regular season tournaments and one match play event over the fall and spring seasons. 

"The 2024-2025 golf season is going to be special." Coach Burke said. "Our schedule has us competing against some of the best teams in the country which in turn will help us prepare for post season play come spring. We have work to do between now and then, but collectively we are looking forward to setting records this year as a team and individually. #HailSouthern" 

Georgia Southern opens the fall making its first appearance in Clemson for the 2024 Tiger Classic for a one-day tournament at The Walker Course on August 26. The squad then returns to the Boilermaker Classic at Kampen Course for the second consecutive season.

The Eagles continue its road swing at the Cougar Classic Sept. 9-10 in Charleston, South Carolina before a three-day competition in the Mason Rudolph Championship at the Vanderbilt Legends Club North Course. 

The squad wraps up its fall campaign hosting The Southern at the Savannah Golf Club Oct. 14-15. 

Georgia Southern returns to spring action on February 2 at the Purdue Puerto Rico Classic at the Grand Reserve Golf Club before competing in match play against Vanderbilt on Feb. 13 at Ohoopee Match Club. 

GS returns to the Valspar Augusta Invitational March 15-16 for a two-day competition at Forest Hills Golf Club. 

The Eagles then travel to the Spartan Suncoast Invitational for its second consecutive appearance before making its first appearance at the More Than Golf Invitational at the Old Barnwell for a three-day tournament beginning March 15. 

Georgia Southern's regular season concludes at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic April 8-9 at the UGA Golf Course in Athens. 

The Sun Belt Conference Championship returns to Point Clear, Alabama at the Lakewood Golf Club with stroke play set to begin on April 14. 

NCAA Regionals are set for May 5-7 with the NCAA Championships to follow May 16-21 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa - Champions Course.
