Georgia Southern women's golf opens its team competition schedule at the Purdue Puerto Rico Classic in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico Feb. 4-6. The teams are scheduled to play 18 holes each day with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday and Monday and 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
The Eagles competed in individual competition at the Lady Bulldog Individual Championship last week but the tournament was cut short due to weather conditions. Louise Reau shot an even par round and ended the day tied for fourth.
Abby Newton makes her 36th career start, Haley Yerxa makes her 16th career start, Regina Plascencia makes her fifth appearance this season, Reau is in the lineup for her sixth career start and Karlee Vardas enters the lineup for the first time this season.
GS is paired with TCU and Kansas State and begin on holes 10-12.
