Cross Country Finishes 12th at Sun Belt Championship

Wheldon and Ptacek pace Eagles
FOLEY, Ala. – The Georgia Southern cross country team finished 12th at the Sun Belt Conference Championship at the Graham Creek Nature Preserve on Friday morning.
In her conference championship debut, freshman Emily Wheldon paced the Eagles with a time of 18:59.24 to finish 44th. Isabel Ptacek finished second on the squad with a time of 19:18.03 finishing 56th.
Kylee Mastin of Marshall won the individual championship, and App State won the team title.
