FULL SCHEDULE

Statesboro, Ga. --- The Georgia Southern baseball team just announced their schedule for the 2025 season.

The Eagles follow up a season in which they made an appearance in the Sun Belt Tournament Championship Game and had won their opening three games of the tournament to make it there. The team finished 33-26 in 2024 with a 17-13 record. The Eagles won two games last year against Top 25 opponents and three games against Power Four opponents. 

The season starts with nine straight home games, with the opening series set for February 14th-16th against Western Carolina, followed by a game on the 18th against Georgia Tech. The first road series is at Campbell from February 28th-March 1st, followed by a road game at Jacksonville on the 5th.

Alumni Weekend is set for March 5th-7th when the Eagles take on Brown, then the team hits the road for their first Sun Belt series against Coastal Carolina.Then, Southern has another five-game home stretch against Kennesaw State on March 18th, Appalachian State from the 21st-23rd, then North Florida on March 26th. To close out March, the Eagles are back on the road to Atlanta to face Georgia State. 

The first of April is a lone game against Clemson at SRP Park, followed by a series at South Alabama from the 4th-6th. Georgia Southern and Mercer will travel to one another on the 9th in Macon, then the 15th back in Statesboro. In between the games is a home Sun Belt series against Old Dominion from April 11th-13th. The Eagles remain in town for their next conference series against Arkansas State from the 17th-19th before a major non-conference test at Florida on April 22nd. The biggest Sun Belt test of the season on paper finalizes April when the eagles travel to Louisiana from April 25-27th to face off against the Ragin' Cajuns. 

May begins with a home series against James Madison from the 2nd-4th with the eagles making the trip back to Georgia tech in a game on the 6th. The final home Sun Belt series comes on May 9th-11th against Texas State with the final non-conference matchup taking place at Kennesaw State on May 13th. The final Sun Belt series of the year is in Huntington as the Eagles finalize the year with Marshall on the 15th-17th. The Sun Belt Tournament returns to Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, Ala., with the opening game set for May 20th.
