Cross Country/Track & Field Earns All-Academic Team Honors

Georgia Southern earns the honor from the USTFCCCA for the first time since 2017
STATESBORO - Georgia Southern women's cross country/track and field earned 2023 All-Academic Team honors, announced by the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on July 13.
To qualify for All-Academic Team honors, the team must carry a 3.0 cumulative overall GPA among all student-athletes listed on an institution's NCAA squad list for the 2022-23 season. Georgia Southern, under first-year head coach David Neville, carries a 3.34 cumulative GPA.
It's the first time that the Eagles have earned All-Academic Team honors from the USTFCCCA since 2017.
