APEX 2022-23 Year In Review: A Fantastic Year!
Georgia Southern student-athletes enjoy a banner year of community service and life-changing events put on by the APEX program!

The 2022-23 season was a banner year for the Georgia Southern APEX program! From August 2022 through May 2023, Georgia Southern athletic teams recorded 100% participation rate in community service and 92% of all student-athletes participated, generating 13,490 hours of community service and an estimated economic impact of $385,011 to the Statesboro and Coastal Empire area.
Georgia Southern student-athletes served 143 organizations during the year, and the Top 5 Teams by community service hours and community impact are listed below:

The first APEX event of the calendar year was the August 8th Splash in the Boro Welcome Back Event. 23 separate events covered the athletic year, wrapping up with the April 27-29 Atlanta Career Tour and also including this summer's Eagles World Wide event with five student-athletes studying abroad.
