The event is part of the APEX program and presented by Career Services.

STATESBORO – Georgia Southern junior and senior student-athletes will participate in a personal branding seminar presented by Georgia Southern Career Services Thursday, Oct. 13, as part of the school's APEX (Athletes Preparing for Employment Experiences) program.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. in the Art Building and is presented by Kristina Lancaster, who works in the Career and Professional Development office here at Georgia Southern.

The APEX program is designed to help prepare Georgia Southern student-athletes for the ultimate challenge after their playing careers- life. Led by Senior Associate Athletics Director Student-Athlete Development Gleen Hart and Senior Associate Athletics Director for Administration Tracy Ham, the APEX program fosters the holistic growth of all Georgia Southern student-athletes based on four pillars: life skills, leadership development, career growth and community engagement. The vision statement of the program is to "develop confident and independent leaders to win in their careers, communities and households."
