Georgia Southern Student-Athletes Set for Atlanta Career Tour

STATESBORO – Georgia Southern Athletics will send 31 student-athletes representing seven teams to Atlanta, Georgia, for the annual Atlanta Career Tour, scheduled for April 23-25.
The three-day professional development experience is designed to provide Eagles with valuable exposure to career opportunities, networking connections and real-world insight across a variety of industries.
During the tour, student-athletes will visit several prominent corporate organizations, including Coca-Cola, Delta Air Lines, The Home Depot and Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
These site visits will offer participants the chance to engage with industry professionals, explore workplace environments and gain a deeper understanding of potential career paths beyond athletics.
In addition to corporate visits, the group will participate in a Georgia Southern alumni networking dinner at Maggiano's, creating meaningful connections with former Eagles currently working in the Atlanta area.
The tour will also include a trip to a Braves baseball game, providing a firsthand look at professional sports operations and entertainment.
