STATESBOROÂ -Â The Georgia Southern APEX program has announced the student-athletes who will participate in the Atlanta Career Networking Tour April 27-29.
The group will travel to Atlanta for a two-night stay and participate in the following: Chick-fil-A tour corporate tour, Coke corporate tour, Delta corporate tour, Braves game, networking dinner with donors and a visit to the Georgia Aquarium.
"We are very excited to return to Atlanta," said
Gleen Hart, senior associate athletics director for student-athlete development. "This event continues to grow with the largest group of (32) student athletes attending this year. We look forward to connecting them with the Atlanta Corporate community and continue on our mission to prepare them for life after sport."
The event is part of the school's APEX (Athletes Preparing for Employment Experiences) program. The APEX program is designed to help prepare Georgia Southern student-athletes for the ultimate challenge after their playing careers- life.
