STATESBORO – Georgia Southern fall sport student-athletes will participate in Entrepreneurship Education Tuesday, April 11, in the Art Room 2071, as part of the Georgia Southern Athletics APEX (Athletes Preparing for Employment EXperiences) program.
Georgia Southern professor Dr. Steven Stewart will teach Entrepreneurship Phase 1 "Athlete-prenuer: Creating Value with Who I Am," a course for a basic understanding of owning and operating your own successful business. The course will focus on basic business model creation and identifying your value and marketplace.

Tracy Ham, the APEX program fosters the holistic growth of all Georgia Southern student-athletes based on four pillars: life skills, leadership development, career growth and community engagement. The vision statement of the program is to "develop confident and independent leaders to win in their careers, communities and households."
