APEX Athlete Network Workshop set for March 9

STATESBORO – Georgia Southern student-athletes will participate in an Athlete Network Workshop March 9, via Zoom as part of the school's APEX (Athletes Preparing for Employment Experiences) program.
The event begins at 7 p.m., and student-athletes will be instructed on how to create an account, build out a profile and utilize the Athlete Network, a social media and communication platform that connects current and former student-athletes together for networking and business opportunities.
The APEX program is designed to help prepare Georgia Southern student-athletes for the ultimate challenge after their playing careers- life. Led by Senior Associate Athletics Director Student-Athlete Development Gleen Hart and Senior Associate Athletics Director for Administration Tracy Ham, the APEX program fosters the holistic growth of all Georgia Southern student-athletes based on four pillars: life skills, leadership development, career growth and community engagement. The vision statement of the program is to "develop confident and independent leaders to win in their careers, communities and households."
