STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern baseball team will host a midweek game against the Kennesaw State Owls from the ASUN Conference on Tuesday, March 14. First pitch from J.I. Clements Stadium is set for 6 p.m.
The Eagles own a 18-13 all-time record over the Owls, a series dating back to just 2007. Georgia Southern is 8-7 all-time against KSU at J.I. Clements Stadium, and holds a 10-5 record against the Owls in Kennesaw, Ga. The two teams will reconvene in Kennesaw on April 19 before the Eagles fly north to take on the Marshall Thundering Herd.
Georgia Southern comes in with a 7-9 record after being swept by Rutgers in a weekend series at J.I. Clements Stadium. Kennesaw State comes in with a 7-6 record after hosting a weekend tournament with UAB and Michigan, picking up a pair of 4-3 wins against each participant.Â
