STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern track and field team competes in the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championship Feb. 20-21 at the Birmingham CrossPlex.

It's the Eagles' second consecutive meet in the Birmingham CrossPlex as GS competed in the Samford Bulldog Open there just eight days ago. Scovia Ayikoru broke her own school record in the 400, and Devine Parker won the 60-meter dash.

Ayikoru took third in the 400 at the Sun Belt Championships last season, and her time of 54.43 this season is the fastest in the league. The Eagles' 4x400 relay time of 3:43.54 is also the fastest time in the conference (NaJ Watson, Megan Bolton, Parker, Ayikoru).
