Senior (2023-24) – Indoor: Posted a mark of 15.59 in the Weight Throw to finish eighth at the Gamecock Opener. Outdoor: Competed in six events • Set a personal best in the shot put at the Georgia Showdown with a mark of 10.31m • Finished 16th at the Sun Belt Outdoor Championships in the hammer throw with a throw of 49.83m

Senior (2022-23) – Indoor: Competed in four meets • Best score in weight throw was 16.80m at the Sun Belt Indoor Championship • Posted three top-8 finishes in the weight throw • Outdoor: Competed in five meets • Recorded two top-5 finishes in the hammer throw • Best toss in the hammer was 50.16m at the Georgia Southern Classic.

Junior (2021-22) – Indoor: Competed in four meets • Best mark in the weight throw was 16.15m at the Sun Belt Championships • Best mark in the shot put was 7.88m at the Gamecock Opener. Outdoor: Competed in seven meets • Took second in the hammer throw in the GATA Classic • Took second in the javelin and hammer throw at the GS Spring Classic • Best toss in the javelin was 22.91 at the GS Spring Classic and best mark in the hammer throw was 45.86 at the Sun Belt Championships.

Before Georgia Southern: Competed at College of Charleston in the 2021 outdoor season • Posted a mark of 39.68m (130-2) in the hammer at the CAA Championships • Top results in the Hammer: 42.13m, 138-3 (Seahawk Invitational – 2021), 40.33m, 132-4 (USC Open – 2021), 40.21m, 131-11 (Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge – 2021) • Graduated from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida • Also attended Kentucky Country Day School from 2016-17 • Named team captain in track & field during the 2019-20 school year • Had PRs of 38-6 in the weight throw and 108-3 in the hammer • Also competed in swimming, volleyball and softball

Personal: Born Samantha Savilla Holbrook Oct. 24, 2001, in Orlando, Florida • The daughter of Jeff and Shandra Holbrook • Jeff played football and baseball at Wabash College • Has a brother, John • Went on a community service trip to Mexico to help build a house for a family in need.

Major: Exercise science.
