Sade Heinrichs Earns First-Team All-Southeast Region Honors

Senior defender becomes the first Eagle to earn first team All-Region honors from the United Soccer Coaches
STATESBORO - Senior defender Sade Heinrichs has earned first-team All-Southeast Region honors, announced today by the United Soccer Coaches. She becomes the first Eagle to earn a first-team All-Region honor from the organization.
Heinrichs started all 19 matches for the Eagles in 2023, missing only 14 minutes of action, while setting new career highs with three goals and seven points. She delivered the game-winning goal in the Eagles' 1-0 victory at Montana on September 10th and was also named a first team All-Sun Belt Conference honoree.
The Monchengladbach, Germany, native was a second team honoree a year ago from the United Soccer Coaches. In addition to being the first Eagle to earn first-team honors, she also becomes the first student-athlete in Georgia Southern women's soccer history to become a two-time United Soccer Coaches All-Region honoree.
As a first team honoree, Heinrichs will now advance to All-America balloting. The United Soccer Coaches All-America teams will be announced on Friday, December 1.
