
Men's Basketball Adds Three on National Signing Day

The team welcomed Jordan Tillery, Langston Boyd and Braylhan Thomas to the 2024 freshman class
STATESBORO– Georgia Southern men's basketball head coach Charlie Henry announced the addition of three signees for the 2024 freshman class on Monday. Combo guard Jordan Tillery (Orlando, Fla.), point guard Langston Boyd (Charlotte, N.C.) and wing Braylhan Thomas (Atlanta, Ga.) all join the upcoming class.
"We are thrilled about the three-man class we were able to sign this fall," head coach Charlie Henry said. "They're all great people first that come from great families and have been a part of really successful programs. I could not be more excited to welcome them to the Georgia Southern basketball family."

HIGH SCHOOL: Named 2022-23 All-Area Team… Four-year letter winner at Oak Ridge… helped guide Oak Ridge to a 19-10 record in 2022-23… averaged 14.8 ppg, 6.0 rpg and 3.8 assists during his junior year.
PERSONAL: Born Jordan Eugene Tillery on April 14, 2006… Son of LaGarass Wellon and Harold Tillery… has a brother, Riley… intended major is sports management.

He's been around great coaching, fierce competition and a whole lot of winning which was something we really looked for when we built this class."

HIGH SCHOOL: Named conference player of the year… helped guide Cox Mill to a state championship… team had a 19-9 record… averaged 19.4 ppg, 7.5 rpg and shot 51 percent from the field.
PERSONAL: Born Langston Elijah Boyd on November 15, 2005… Son of Kimberly Langley and Curtis Boyd… has two siblings, Carver and Layla… intended major is business.
FROM CHARLIE HENRY: "Langston Boyd gives us elite physical tools at the point guard position. He has great positional size as well as tremendous speed and athleticism. He has everything he needs to be an impact two-way player for us. We are excited to watch him as he leads Cox Mill during his senior season and gets the opportunity to play for Coach Absher."

HIGH SCHOOL: Played with Avantae Parker at Gray Collegiate Academy… helped lead the team to a state championship… averaged 11.6 ppg and 5.0 rpg as the team went 25-6.
PERSONAL: Born Braylhan Samuel Thomas on August 21, 2005… Son of Tracy Hankins… played AAU for Team Charlotte.
FROM CHARLIE HENRY: "Braylhan is a skilled 6'6 wing with guard skills. He can score the ball at all three levels, and similar to Langston, has the physical tools to be an impact defender for us as well. He plays at a great program for a terrific head coach in Dion Bethea, where he paired up with Avantae last year and helped lead them to a state championship last season. Braylhan has a relationship with Langston dating back to their days at Combine Academy which was pretty cool for all involved."
