SAAC and APEX To Host Food Drive at Football vs. Old Dominion

STATESBORO - Georgia Southern's SAAC and APEX groups will host a food drive benefiting the Statesboro Food Bank before the football game against Old Dominion on Saturday, November 18.
With kickoff for the football game scheduled for 6 p.m. on Saturday, the groups will begin collecting food at 3 p.m. from Gate 8 at Allen E. Paulson Stadium.
Student-athletes from both SAAC and APEX, along with the Statesboro Food Bank, will be available to collect canned food items and other non-perishable items from fans before the game.

Why: Help support the mission of the Statesboro Food Bank to provide meals for needy families in Bulloch County
"We pride ourselves on community service and helping those in need," Sr. Associate AD Gleen Hart said. "It is my belief that we can greatly impact this community by giving back and continuing to support our athletic department and the APEX Programs mission to be servant leaders."
