PREVIEW: Men's Tennis at Mercer Gridiron Classic

STATESBORO - Georgia Southern men's tennis will be in action this weekend at the Mercer Gridiron Classic, hosted by Mercer University. Five Eagles will compete in singles and doubles action that begins on Friday morning at the John Drew Smith Tennis Center.
The Eagles will be sending senior Jacob Mitchell, juniors Alex Suk and Laurent Julia Calac along with sophomores Matthew Mitchell and Aaron James Williams.
Georgia Southern will be one of eight other teams competing over the weekend. Other competing teams are: Mercer, Troy, Auburn Montgomery, Alabama State, Georgia College, Middle Georgia, Flagler and Georgia State.
Friday will begin with two doubles matches, then one singles match. Saturday's play consists of two singles matches and the weekend will conclude on Sunday with one singles and one doubles match.
