COLUMBIA, S.C. – Devine Parker ran the 200 in 24.07 to set a new school record, and the Eagles opened the indoor season by posting eight Georgia Southern top-5 performances at the Carolina Challenge, which wrapped up today at the Carolina Indoor Track & Field Complex.
Scovia Ayikoru (24.19-2nd all-time) and
NaJ Watson (24.51- 4th all-time) joined Parker in notching top-5 program time in the 200. Watson also tied the fourth-best time in program history in the 60 (7.54) and joined with
Sofia Molina,
Donisha Jeanty and Ayikoru to run the second-fastest time in the 4x400 (3:47.69).
Nichole Harris,
Lauren Euler,
Isabel Ptacek and
Katie Ranck ran the fourth-fastest time in program history in the distance medley relay (12:32.37), and
Lily Ball posted the third-fastest time in the 3000 (10:26.96).
Sam Holbrook had the fourth best performance in the weight throw (16.50) and finished third, and
Imani Moore finished third in the long jump and posted a personal best mark (5.82).Â
