"Any kind of success that you're trying to obtain at high levels, there's a journey that you need to go on," said head coach
John Murphy. "We're on that journey right now. The valley is a little deeper than we expected and wanted it to be, but it's part of the process. I'm proud of every single kid that stepped on the field tonight and the energy was magnificent, but we're struggling to find ways to win games."
"This isn't the time to criticize this young group. This is for me, as the head coach, to figure out what we need to do to improve upon the good things that we did tonight. We need to work for the next couple of days and prepare for a very important game at home against our number one rival, Georgia State."
