Quotables from Coach Chad Willis
On Alcorn State
"I'm pleased with the bounce back to start off the day. We did a much better job controlling our side and bettering the ball. We had a pretty balanced attack, and our first contact really set the tone for what we were able to do that match."

On USC Upstate
"I'm happy for our group and thought we did a great job of winning the day. We had a pretty balanced offensive attack in both matches, and I thought as the day went on, we really dialed in with first contact, which created a lot of opportunities. We'll work the film and look forward to taking the momentum into back-to-back weekends on the road."

Next Up
The Eagles play three matches in the Tussle in the Triad next weekend in Greensboro, North Carolina. GS takes on South Carolina State, UNC Asheville and UNCG.
