LEXINGTON, Ky. – For the first time in program history, Georgia Southern volleyball produced a first-team AVCA All-Region recipient, as junior outside hitter Reagan Barth was named one of 14 student-athletes on Tuesday.
"A huge congratulations to Reagan on earning First Team All-Region honors," head coach Chad Willis said. "We're grateful to the southeast region coaches and the AVCA for recognizing her commitment and hard work. This is a great testament to everything Reagan continues to accomplish on and off the court, as she writes her story in the proud tradition of Georgia Southern Volleyball."
The three-time First Team All-Sun Belt recipient and two-time 2025 Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week honoree, Barth ranks fifth all-time in Georgia Southern history with 1,159 kills on the court. The Lenexa, Kansas, native played in all 28 matches for the Eagles, 104 total sets. She posted a .254 hitting percentage with 450 kills and 270 digs.
Barth entered the postseason ranked ninth in Division I in attacks per set (12.25), 34th in kills per set (4.33), and 31st in points per set (4.86). In 23 matches this season, Barth registered double-digit kills, notching a career-high 37 against Louisiana (11/14), one off the school record of 38. That performance was one of the top single-game performances in D1 as well as Sun Belt volleyball history.
Georgia Southern's outside hitter collected 20-plus kills seven times in 2025, while adding 10 double-doubles in kills and digs. She tallied double-digit digs in 12 matches, including a season-high 22 at Georgia State (11/8). Additionally, Barth added a career-high eight blocks against UIC on August 30.
