Junior (2022): Played in all 27 matches and made 10 starts • Averaged 2.22 digs per set in 95 sets • Tallied 211 digs, nine aces and 15 assists • Reached double-figure digs 12 times • Posted a season-high 14 digs at Arkansas State (9/23).
Sophomore (2021): One of three Eagles to play in all 28 matches and competed in 102 sets • Finished the year with 265 digs, 23 assists and 18 aces • Reached double figures in digs in 14 matches and tallied a season-high 25 to go along with four assists and two aces vs. Coppin State (8/28) • Posted double-digit digs in five straight matches from Oct. 14-29.
Freshman (2020): One of three Eagles to play in all 62 sets • Ranked eighth in the Sun Belt Conference in digs (4.34/set) • Tallied 269 digs, 31 assists and 10 aces • Reached double-figures in digs in 14 matches and tallied 20-plus six times, including four straight contests from Nov. 12-19 • Tallied a season-high 28 digs in the Eagles’ Sun Belt Tourney win over Troy (11/18) and backed it up with 21 the next night against UTA (11/19).
Prep: Lettered four years for coach Kris Hagaman at Watauga High School and played club for Justin Burgess and Jan Dowling at the Twin City Volleyball Academy • Tallied 321 kills, 162 digs, 27 blocks and 26 aces as a senior at Watauga; posted a .365 hitting percentage • Named all-conference all four seasons, the Offensive Player of the Year in 2017 and the league's Player of the Year in 2018 • Also lettered and earned all-conference honors in basketball and track • National Honor Society and A Honor Roll all four years.
Personal: Born Rebekah Grace Farthing May 11, 2002, in Boone, North Carolina • The daughter of Andy and Angie Farthing • Has two older sisters, Meredith and Sydney, and a younger sister, Caroline • Angie, played basketball at Gardner-Webb • Sydney, played volleyball at Appalachian State.
